Your responsibilities in a few words:

Support and partner with the investment teams by ensuring the proper integration of sustainable investment considerations into investment processes (analysis of value creation opportunities and ESG risks, including climate risks) - Conduct deep dives on economic and industrial activities to assess their sustainability merit - Engage with portfolio companies post-investment – Contribute to the disclosure of sustainability information on the firm and its investment strategies to a broad range of stakeholders through questionnaires (UNPRI, SASB, TCFD) and meetings with investors and other parties - Help measure and manage impact – Contribute to the development of sustainability policies and strategies - Participate in the development of content and work on the firm’s annual sustainability report.

 

Your qualifications for this position:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sustainable investing, sustainability consulting, or sustainability management
  • Bachelor's degree and ideally a master's degree in finance, sustainable development, environmental studies, engineering, law, or an equivalent field
  • Experience working with investment teams, ideally in infrastructure and private equity
  • Knowledge of climate issues and carbon footprint calculation
  • Understanding of investment decision-making processes
  • Familiarity with major sustainability frameworks
  • CFA or FSA-SASB designations considered an asset 
  • Knowledge of European regulations (SFDR, SDR, European taxonomy) considered an asset
  • Expertise in biodiversity considered an asset
