Your role
You will become a reference for the quality of financial information and the improvement of accounting practices. Specifically, you will be required to:
• Supervise accounting activities and period ends
• Ensure the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
• Guide, mobilize, and advance team members
• Strengthen internal controls and document financial processes
• Lead the preparation of budgets and financial projections
• Analyze results and provide useful information for decision-making
• Coordinate external audits and tax files
• Oversee cash management, cash flows, financing, and foreign exchange risk
• Ensure compliance with sales taxes in the relevant territories
• Guide analyses related to investment projects
• Contribute to automation, data centralization, and system evolution
• Ensure monitoring of transfer pricing, grants, and certain corporate files
What we are looking for
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA designation
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in financial control, auditing, or corporate accounting
• Strong mastery of accounting standards, period ends, and consolidated financial statements
• Experience in team management or development
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with an ERP
• Ability to work in French and English, both orally and in writing
• Mobilizing leadership, professional judgment, and ability to set priorities
Assets
• Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site company
• Exposure to Canadian and American activities
• Knowledge of a complex ERP
• Strong interest in automation and artificial intelligence tools
