Tax Technician

Performs various tasks related to taxation and the collection of taxes and other revenues as well as the transmission of relevant information.

• Conducts various research with the different departments of the City to resolve tax adjustment requests within the scope of their responsibilities
• Prepares, based on plans and various information, the documents and information used for the distribution and imposition of property taxes for permanent works, for the imposition of transfer duties on real estate and water meter charges, tenants, etc.
• Prepares, based on plans and various information, the taxation studies for infrastructure works.
• Prepares, based on various information, the documents required for the cash payment of infrastructure expenses.
• Prepares, based on various information, the documents required for files requiring collection procedures.

• Possess a college diploma (DEC) in accounting and management techniques or equivalent;
• Have eighteen (18) months of relevant experience in the function, as described in the summary above;
• Master the Office suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
