Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Pointe-Claire, QC
Salary: $100,000-$125,000
Schedule: Flexible and availability to work from home 1 day a week

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You'll manage a team of accountants, handle month-end and year-end cycles, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead and mentor a team of 6 accounting professionals
• Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports
• Manage month-end tasks like reviewing journal entries and accruals
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and contribute to external audits
• Assist with continuous improvement projects and systems implementations

What You Bring:

• CPA designation would be considered an asset
• Bachelor’s in Accounting would be considered an asset
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a large organization
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
• Leadership experience with a focus on team development
• Bilingual (English/French) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
