In a context where maintaining and optimizing assets represents a major organizational priority, Laval is seeking a results-oriented strategic leader. You play a key role in mobilizing teams and interdepartmental collaboration to support the city’s strategic vision while contributing to shaping sustainable and high-performing urban environments for the community.
Reporting to the Deputy General Director of Corporate Partnerships, you are a key strategic player in the change management and financial management of the City. You oversee and direct all financial activities of the City such as long-term financial planning, budgets, revenue collection, and property tax as well as financial performance, and you act as the city treasurer according to the responsibilities defined in the Cities and Towns Act and municipal regulations.
