Accounts Payables Supervisor (KL)

Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor 
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
Location: Ville Saint-Laurent
Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible hours
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days work-from-home)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payables Supervisor to oversee a team of 10 professionals in a fast-paced and evolving environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leadership, process optimization, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the accounts payable department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of 10 AP specialists, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in operations.
  • Oversee and manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Leverage strong Excel skills to analyze data, optimize workflows, and implement process improvements.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management regarding AP performance and cash flow.
  • Participate in system improvements and automation projects to enhance efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounts payable, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis).
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and support a team.
  • Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in French and English (written & spoken) to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to implement process improvements.
