Our client, a well-established and growing company in the construction sector, is looking for a Director of Finance to act as a true strategic partner to the President.
This opportunity is aimed at a CPA who wants to actively contribute to business decisions, optimize financial performance, and support the growth of an ambitious organization. You will take over an existing accounting team and have the necessary latitude to evolve processes, tools, and financial practices.

As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for all financial and administrative activities of the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading financial planning and the budgeting process.
Producing and analyzing financial results to support decision-making.
Optimizing project profitability through sound cost management and pricing.
Developing and evolving performance indicators and dashboards (Power BI).
Supervising cash flow, banking relationships, and financial operations.
Ensuring the reliability of financial statements and strengthening internal controls.
Collaborating with external partners (banks, tax advisors, auditors, insurers, and surety companies).
Guiding and mobilizing the finance and administration team in a spirit of continuous improvement.
Actively participating in strategic decisions and supporting management in growth projects.
You are recognized for your leadership, rigor, and business vision.
You possess:
A CPA designation.
A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
Experience in financial management in an SME environment, ideally multi-entity.
Excellent mastery of budgeting, financial analysis, cash management, and internal controls.
A good knowledge of English.
The ability to influence decision-makers and build trusting relationships.
An analytical mind, excellent judgment, and a solution-oriented approach.
An asset:
Experience in the construction sector.
Knowledge of project accounting.
Salary starting from 130,000$, depending on experience.
Permanent full-time position (40 hours/week).
Flexible schedule.
