About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payables Supervisor to oversee a team of 10 professionals in a fast-paced and evolving environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leadership, process optimization, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the accounts payable department.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a team of 10 AP specialists, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in operations.
Oversee and manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payments.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Leverage strong Excel skills to analyze data, optimize workflows, and implement process improvements.
Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management regarding AP performance and cash flow.
Participate in system improvements and automation projects to enhance efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounts payable, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis).
Leadership: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and support a team.
Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual: Fluent in French and English (written & spoken) to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to implement process improvements.
