Financial Analyst (CPA)

Drummondville | Hybrid | 40 hours

Are you a CPA who still enjoys working with numbers, understanding operations, and delving into analyses?

Nexwav is assisting a well-established manufacturing company in Drummondville in the search for an experienced CPA who wishes to play an expert role within the finance team.

Here, we are not necessarily looking for someone who wants to manage a team or quickly access a management position. We are rather looking for a technically solid, autonomous, and curious person who enjoys being close to operations and contributing concretely to the quality of financial information.

Your Role

On a daily basis, you will be called upon to:

• participate in month-end and year-end processes;
  
• prepare and analyze financial information;
  
• conduct cost, pricing, and variance analyses;
  
• contribute to inventories and physical counts;
  
• collaborate directly with operational teams;
  
• understand observed variances and delve into their causes;
  
• participate in the implementation of a new ERP;
  
• contribute to the improvement of financial analyses and processes.
  

The position is primarily operational and does not involve direct personnel management. However, it offers the opportunity to contribute to important projects and have good visibility on manufacturing activities.

What We Are Looking For

• CPA designation required;
  
• Approximately five years of relevant experience or more;
  
• Combined experience in financial accounting and management accounting;
  
• Good understanding of financial statements and inventories;
  
• Manufacturing experience highly desired;
  
• Rigorous, autonomous, and capable of delving into files;
  
• Functional English.
