Your Role

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be a financial partner to the plant and a key player in decision-making.

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising and participating in the monthly closing process and the preparation of financial statements;
• Analyzing financial results and explaining variances;
• Conducting cost analyses and contributing to cost control optimization;
• Ensuring the integrity and reconciliation of inventory and production data;
• Supervising an accounts team payables and receivables;
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures;
• Collaborate closely with operations teams and various corporate departments;
• Participate in the improvement and optimization of processes and the integrated system.

The ideal candidate

I am looking for someone who:

Holds a CPA designation and a university degree in administration, accounting, or a related field; Haves 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment; Enjoys understanding the figures, but especially what they reveal about operations; Posses strong analytical skills and sound judgment; Is comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders and communicating with operational teams; Proficient in Excel (especially pivot tables); Knowledge of an ERP system — Microsoft Dynamics AX, an asset; Is fully bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written the written part.
