Real Estate Analyst

Founded in 1982 by members of the Armoyan family, Armco Capital Inc. has grown from a small family business into a diversified and dynamic group of companies with locations in Canada and the US. Armco continues to grow; both in business diversification, development, and its team of dedicated professionals. 

We are currently searching for a Real Estate Analyst to join our team.

Overview

The Real Estate Analyst will provide financial and analytical support services to the Real Estate team which will include preparing documents, performing market research, analyzing comparable properties and sales trends and preparing financial analysis to support decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and research market comparable data.
  • Research and track market trends such as rental growth, recent transactions, new development and leasing activity.
  • Prepare financial models for real estate valuation including financial modelling, quantitative performance and risk analysis.
  • Respond to requests from team members for property information
  • Database Management
  • Deliver ad hoc requests or projects.
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field. 
  • Priority to candidates with the CFA designation  
  • At least 3 years of experience performing Real estate analysis and research.
  • Strong financial skills combined with excellent attention to details.
  • Ability to identify the thing that stands-out, the opportunity or the problem.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capacity to synthetize information.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and working with tight deadlines.
  • Asset management experience: an asset

Language

  • English (Spoken and written)
  • French (Spoken and written)

Travel

  • Occasionally
