Senior Analyst Treasury, Cash Management

POSITION PROFILE

  • Responsible for establishing the quarterly cash repatriation plan including the internal financing of the subsidiaries of the group.
  • Responsible for planning and leading the cash repatriation efforts to reduce the external financing needs.
  • Ensure every plan is approved by numerous finance and operations teams.
  • Ensure that each plan takes into account: a cash flow forecast, budget, capital expenditures, existing internal financing portfolio.
  • Streamline the existing process.
  • Coordinates the available resources from the other teams such as accounting, tax and operations.
  • Identify the potential foreign exchange exposures and impact on the current hedging, if there is any, of all the above approved plans. Make recommendations to its superior for approval.
  • Execute the approved foreign exchange trades in line with the internal policies.
  • Provide assistance to the M&A team whenever internal financing is required.
  • Responsible for the internal financing portoflio.
  • Responsible for developping and maintaining reports related to all the above mentioned responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in business,  finance, accounting or economy.
  • Post-graduate designation preferred (CPA / MBA / CFA / CTP).
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in international Treasury and/or cash management.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to promote actions from peers to support plans.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
  • Knowledge/experience with international tax laws and respective IFRS rules impacting cash repatriation considered an asset
