Our client, an international SME playing in the technology sector is looking for a North America controller to join his team. You will work in a dynamic, ambitious and planning business to double in size within a few years. As a controller, you will manage the daily activities of the Finance function for Canadian and American entities. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the end of the month. You will also be the contact person for questions related to financial operations and project accounting. In addition, you will supervise the accounting processes to ensure that transactions are accurately recorded, in a timely manner and in accordance with the company's policies. You will supervise and support employees. You will be responsible for: revising the monthly returns of GST / TVQ and American sales tax and then review the balance of balance sheet and provide a full risk analysis and opportunities. You will be responsible for resolving daily financial business issues by interacting with different stakeholders and you will support the corporate team as part of the end-of-year external audit. Finally, you will provide reports or ad hoc analyzes and participate in special projects, as needed.
Profile: CPA, bilingual with 8-12 years of experience in project accounting in a multisite framework (Multidise), intercos and consolidation. You will have to have a very good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Dynamics . The desired profile is an intrapreneur, both hands on and strategic who loves teamwork and able to work in a fast-growing environment.
