Additionally, they will support team members on key initiatives in the digital marketing space.The individual will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and be equally able to develop strategic recommendations as well as oversee the day-to-day technical management of our social media presence.
When you wake up in the morning you'll be excited to start the day because you and team are empowered to make a differenceºLead the development, planning, management, execution, administration and analysis of our social media strategy across multiple channels ºDevelop and manage a robust, well-defined content calendar that amplifies key product & marketing programs and ensures a strong social media presence to drive awareness, grow SOV, and support the client experienceºOwn the day-to-day management, development and posting of social media content, actively monitoring, responding, reporting (and escalating if necessary) to ensure a positive client experience ºAs part of the marketing team - actively contribute to both annual and campaign planning and budget management processes; and participate on cross-functional project teams as requiredºMonitor & measure social media performance vs established objectives (KPIs) and continuously optimize for impact, effectiveness & efficiencyºWork in partnership with marketing and external suppliers to plan, develop and execute the social media strategies for both D2C & B2B - including recommendations on channels, audiences, timing and content formatsºSocial Media Ambassador º work with colleagues to identify opportunities for continuous improvement; provide reporting to keep leadership teams up-to-date on activities and resultsºManage platform relationships ie: HootSuite and oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)ºSupport the delivery of a strong, consistent & differentiated Brand across all digital assets; while championing a 'best in class' digital user experiences
Your background and experience is both broad and deep º3-5 years progressive experience in social media marketing/strategy ºBachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related fieldºProven work experience as a social media manager - strong social media knowledge and its contribution in driving the marketing funnel and influence on client/brand experienceºStrong technical experience with various social platforms and monitoring tools (Hootsuite experience an asset) ºExcellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practicesºAbility to deliver creative content (text, image and video)ºSelf-motivated and results oriented individual with strong leadership, decision-making, planning and problem-solving skillsºA highly effective communicator with well-developed presentation skillsºStrong relationship management, negotiation and influencing skillsºOrganized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines.ºHigh degree of collaboration - contributes to a positive work cultureºBilingual (French/English) verbal and written communication skills are assets
