Analyst, Export Control and Classifications

  • Classification of ITAR, EAR and CGP controlled product.
  • Contracts analysis, projects, and related issues.
  • Coordinating special projects and close work with programmers, customers and suppliers to achieve export control compliance.
  • Write and manage export control procedures.
  • Write, review and present export permits and licenses to government authorities.
  • Communicate and provide training to CAE 's Export Control Officers worldwide
  • Create partnership; develop relationship with great interpersonal skills.
  • Audit sites, detect non-compliance situations and take necessary actions to return to compliance (voluntary disclosure, authority to stop operations, etc.).


  • College degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in ITAR, EAR and CGP.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, and excellent writing skills in English and French.
  • Very strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).


  • Innovation / creativity in project and international process management.
  • Ability to work within the regulatory restrictions and procedures (knowledge of ITAR, EAR and CGD regulations).
  • Expertise in classification of products controlled by ITAR, EAR and CGP.
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations while taking into account procedures and guidelines.
  • Ingenuity, initiative, interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to convey knowledge.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to participate in process improvement projects.
  • Willingness to take initiative in order to solve problems for local and international customers.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and to organize the daily workload.
  • Time management skills; autonomy and responsible attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, stimulating environment.
