We drive results by placing our customers first, making the better choice, acting courageously, and believing everyone belongs.This role sits within Laurentian Bank Securities, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.Reporting to the Manager, the Officer, Account Transfers, is responsible for performing incoming and outgoing account transfers. The incumbent must serve as a contact person for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

ºReconcile daily settlement of positions in our accounting system;ºPerform daily cash settlement (CSS) with FundSERV and make data entries to accounts; ºMake requests for updates to client files and follow up with the various fund houses;ºPrepare documents for internal account transfers;ºPrepare documents for internal account transfers; Perform account transfer requests and follow up on them;ºUpdate the book values of clients' accounts;ºUpdate the book values of the clients' accounts; Perform address changes for the clients with the mutual fund companies;ºNotify the various stakeholders of any problems encountered following their requests;ºAct as a resource person for internal and external clients;ºContribute to the collective effort during peak periods;ºAccomplish all other tasks of the same nature or related.

Qualifications

º College diploma or 3 years of relevant experience;º Good knowledge of French and English spoken and written;º Good knowledge of investment funds;º Knowledge of the FundSERV system, ISM (an asset);º Accuracy and speed of execution;º Ability to work in a team environment;º Ability to manage priorities;º Ability to learn;º Demonstrate initiative and autonomy;º Demonstrate professional rigor and attention to detail;º Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;º Propensity to offer a quick and efficient service to customers.
