VOTRE RÔLE

Le directeur est impliqué dans la gestion et la planification des mandats, ainsi que la relation avec les clients. Il est responsable de gérer et de former l'équipe de techniciens comptables et directeurs adjoints. Il doit également prendre en charge un portefeuille de clients et soutenir sa clientèle attitrée.

Le directeur doit superviser l’avancement des mandats, gérer la charge de travail qui lui est attribuée et veiller au respect des budgets alloués, à la qualité des dossiers et à leur livraison dans les échéanciers requis, tout en démontrant un excellent sens du service client.

Responsabilités

Effectuer le cycle comptable complet et la comptabilité de placement

Gérer un portefeuille de clients et planifier, coordonner et superviser l’exécution des mandats qui lui sont attribués, en veillant au respect des échéanciers (rapports de taxes, fins de mois comptables, tenue de livres pour les fins d’année et autres échéanciers requis) ainsi qu’au respect des budgets établis.
Superviser, planifier et réviser la tenue de livres, les rapports de taxes et tout autre rapport demandé, incluant ceux préparés par les techniciens ou par un directeur adjoint, afin d’assurer la qualité et la conformité des livrables.
Effectuer, planifier et réviser la comptabilité des placements, analyser les écarts en cas de débalancement et réaliser la tenue de livres complexe pour certains clients.
Agir comme personne-ressource pour l’ensemble des étapes du cycle comptable et soutenir l’équipe dans la réalisation de leurs mandats.

Effectuer les activités de fin d’année

Préparer et réviser les dossiers de fin d’année et les états financiers, incluant la tenue de livres produite par les techniciens comptables et directeurs adjoints;
Encadrer les techniciens comptables et directeurs adjoints assignés à ses dossiers, en assurant le respect des échéanciers et des budgets;
Effectuer les analyses de comptes, résoudre les anomalies et assurer la conformité aux normes comptables;
Produire les états financiers internes ou mission de compilation;
Préparer les déclarations de revenus des sociétés;
Collaborer avec les clients pour collecter l’information, assister à la présentation des résultats et formuler au besoin des recommandations;

Préparer la paie et les autres tâches liées à la paie

Planifier et coordonner le traitement de la paie en collaboration avec l’équipe de paie;
Planifier, participer et préparer les feuillets fiscaux annuels.

Assurer une bonne communication interne et externe

Superviser les communications avec les autorités fiscales et agir à titre de personne ressource;
Coordonner et diriger les intervenants dans les mandats;
Utiliser chacun dans ses forces et contribuer à créer une ambiance de travail positive;
Être un exemple pour ses pairs et encourager la synergie et le travail d'équipe auprès de ses collègues;
Faire preuve d’un excellent sens du service client dans toutes les interactions, tant internes qu’externes.

Respecter les délais et les budgets

Planifier, organiser et exécuter les mandats en respectant les délais et les budgets établis, tout en conciliant les attentes des clients avec les contraintes du mandat Assurer la répartition du travail et l’établissement des mandats;
Suivre l’avancement des mandats, l’état des budgets et le temps travaillé par l’équipe, et en informer régulièrement l’associé responsable;
Gérer les dépassements de coûts ou de temps, obtenir au besoin un budget supplémentaire et en aviser le client lorsque nécessaire;
Suivre l’ancienneté des comptes clients et des travaux en cours;
Superviser la facturation des mandats effectuée par les techniciens, identifier les travaux supplémentaires pouvant être facturés et veiller à atteindre la cible de facturation établie.

Participer au développement du cabinet

Identifier des éléments de planification et proposer un budget de temps et d'honoraires à l'associé;
Participer à l'intégration des nouveaux employés;
Aide à la formation ainsi qu’au développement des autres membres de l’équipe;
Élaborer des outils et formations et améliorer l'efficience des mandats ainsi que du département;
Être impliqué dans la formation des clients;
Faire les rétroactions par mandat et participer aux rencontres d’évaluations annuelles;
Supporter l'associé pour la préparation des offres de services;
Participer aux activités de rayonnement et développer son réseau de contacts.
