Job Title: Assistant Controller
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Assistant Controller who seeks to simplify, automate, and improve work processes. Proactive, hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable with technology.
Your responsibilities:
- Be at the heart of month-end activities: receivables, payables, bank reconciliations, month-end closings, entries, analyses, financial statements, and constantly seek to improve these processes.
- Participate in inventory analysis: validate inventory, explain discrepancies, track adjustments, and optimize associated processes.
- Contribute to the preparation, review, and control of budgets, financial forecasts, and expense analyses.
- Explain variances and support management in decision-making.
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of financial statements.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure the quality of accounting documentation. processes.
- Work closely with operations, purchasing, and production to ensure reliable and smooth financial information flows.
- Create periodic management reports and performance indicator calculations.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English).

Your profile:

- Good knowledge of industrial environments: you understand production flows and their financial impact.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
- CPA designation obtained or working towards (an asset)
