Who are we? Located in Joliette, the Lanaudière Festival is the largest classical music festival in Canada and actively participates in the cultural life of the Lanaudière region.
Your mission
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, you will execute all of the organization's accounting operations.
More specifically, we expect you to: Perform bookkeeping Manage accounts payable and receivable Prepare payroll, government remittances, and T4 and Relevé 1 slips Perform bank reconciliations Prepare certain accounting reports Assist in the preparation of the audit file Control and reconcile the inventory of the dealerships Any other tasks deemed necessary for the smooth operation of the corporationYour Profile
- Hold a college diploma in accounting (DEC);
- Have 5 years of experience in accounting – bookkeeping;
- Have a good knowledge Proficiency in Acomba, Excel, and the Office 365 suite;
- Good command of spoken and written French and a working knowledge of English;
- Probity and discretion;
- Autonomy and the ability to manage priorities.
During the summer months, the volume of transactions increases considerably, so you must also be well-organized and responsive to unforeseen events!
